STUDIO 300 Digital Art and Music Festival, 2025: DEADLINE is Aug. 11, 2025
TRANSYLVANIA UNIVERSITY is accepting submissions for the STUDIO 300 Digital Art and Music Festival. This international festival will take place in Lexington, Kentucky, USA on October 8 & 9 2025.
Mission
The Studio 300 Festival explores creative applications of technology through concerts and exhibitions of digital art and music. This year’s festival will feature electroacoustic and interactive music concerts, multimedia and interactive art installations, animation screenings, and virtual works showcased online in the Studio 300 Internet Gallery. Artists and musicians from Lexington and around the world will participate. Submissions related to artificial intelligence, haptic interfaces, data visualization/sonification, animation, sound sculpture, robotics, hardware and internet hacking, virtual/augmented reality, ecological art/music, and interactive internet-based works are especially encouraged. However, all digital art and music projects are welcome. Proposals for demonstrations, paper presentations, workshops, and panel discussions are also invited.
Submission Deadline
Submissions must be received by Aug. 11, 2025. There is no submission fee.
Participation Guidelines
Composers and artists whose works are accepted and programmed for performance—either in concerts or installations—are required to attend the festival in person. Participants are responsible for providing their own performers, if needed. A registration fee of $40.00 is required for participation. However, an early registration rate of $30.00 is available for payments received before August 27, 2025.
